I don’t know where in Texas you live but there has to be dozens of not hundreds of trucking companies in an hour or 2 drive from your house. Why travel so far and rent a car to a company that you could find the same job close to home.Maybe you should do it the old fashioned way get of the internet and drive around to companies close to you and go in and talk to someone

I'm sorry but your spelling makes this a challenge to read and understand what's happening..... sounds like you should have researched a bit more on this company....

I had no problem understanding what i said. Neither did a few other people. If you were challenged seems like a you problem. Research only goes so far and hindsight being 2020 o wouldn't have. The reason why I went there is because none of the Tx companies offered 1099, home every weekend and 3000 miles per week. Who knew 500 miles per day isn't doable with compies now days? Monday -Saturday and be home Saturday night maybe early Sunday morning for a 34. Nope, they only give 40k and over recycling and beer loads that are 900+ miles. When you sit at the shipper or receiver 4-24hrs and your truck breaks down every Friday or Saturday 3k miles drops to 1500-2100 easy. When you get there knowing you're promise 54cpm because of experience then it drops to 52cpm and find out the saftey/recruiter/office manager lied according to Kate the Payroll/owner's daughter and Dinah "couldn't" have said that you start realizing really quick how people change things to their narrative as they see fit. Research doesn't change lies and deceit. It is what it is until the Attorney General, DOT, the DOL a couple TV stations the BBB and a couple other people pop up on their door. They can't lie to everyone.

So you want a 1099 job pulling a boxed trailer and are surprised that you were lied to and taken advantage of? 500 miles a week in a dead freight environment? Sure thing captain.. lol

500 a day not a week. And yes. I've had 54 cpm and did well. I know plenty of people that have and are. Don't yuk my yum which is now yuk again. Lol. I drove for another Bosnian company in 2009 paying. 36cpm, never sat much and back then 12-1500 a week was good. .54 cpm you'd think would better. If the truck wasn't broken down every week and I didn't have to sit at places it probably wouldn't be bad..one week I did have that the truck didn't break down and I didn't sit at every place I went to (far and in between) i brought home 1734. On 3200 miles. Ther was one detention payment and 150 for escrow taken but as I said, the truck breakdowns and long waits are the killers and more often than not.

No insurance no fuel no trailer no tags no other payments. If the trucks were work anything and they didn't work off of a load board causing drivers to sit as much a drive then .54cpm can add up to my last check of $1734 on 3200 miles. They also took escrow that made it 1734 and added a small detention. Wasn't much. I know more drivers making decent money that way then trying to be OO and lease purchase. If the truck wasn't broken down and sitting so much wasn't an issue in can live on 1500+ per week. I don't have a high maintenance lifestyle. 6000 a month and I'm better than alot of people. Not rich but not living above my lifestyle with money saved. 54cpm tax free really isn't bad if its consistent. It's not with them. Trucks aren't worth a darn, loads are always heavy and 4 plus hours at every place you pick up and deliver too even the 3 they sell you on as a customer but don't tell u its only 3 just regular customers in KY and TX. When you ask if they do alot of heavy loads they say some not a lot and every load you get is 40k+ in recycling or beverage but u don't find the lies out until you start driving. Then yeah, u regret it and leave ASAP.
