I really was not referring to LTL freight. But rather regular full load van.

There are plenty of people happy with Carter Express. I used to work for REK Express, from Elkhart IN. Decent enough place.

I hear a few drivers are happy at both Abilene Motor Express and Big D Motor Express.

I saw a Western Express in West Memphis yesterday. That's west of the Mississippi. They live up to the nane

I’ve seen them down in Laredo,Texas a few times. And that’s definitely west of the Mississippi River.

I had good experiences the 2 times I was there. I pull the mail now for hourly wage long distances. Sweet gig and I still feel like Western Express is pretty good if one has the right dm and can remain quiet or polite on Qualcomm and phone over time or when freight is slow (rare).. That makes all the difference. Just an opinion.

You spoke some truth about freight hahaha, I never sat. Your sentiment goes true foe every truck company. The right attitude can make any job a good experience with rare exceptions

0215172111.jpg You get a good DM at Western Express and it's good times. Tractor with 70k miles and freight. That's a flatbed tractor hooked up to a van to keep the guy rolling 1000 mile runs.

I’ve had a great experience at Western so far. It’s a little over 4 months so technically it’s not long enough for me to give a real opinion. I’ll say this my DM is a good man. They gave me a brand new tractor, and there is way more new trailers than ones +3 years old. I get about around 3000 miles a week. They pay is always on time or a day earlier. They don’t ask me to do anything that would endanger my CDL. I run the western 11 and love the routes I get.

    ‘Nuff said.

Keep your record clean for a year and then leave afterwards.
