As time is gone on I've noticed certain truck stops have a much higher Canadian presence here in the US. These truck stops typically add an extra half hour on my day due to the delays they cause. Taking naps, showers, dinner or who knows what else while sitting at or in front of the fuel islands. Parking is also a greater issue at these Canadian American truck stops, seems to be most of them aim to park in driveways instead of parking spaces. Trying to navigate these truck stops with a heavy Canadian presents isn't unnecessary slowdown and danger... I normally go to Love's but It's been over ran and almost every location around me. Is there a certain brand they don't usually go to?

Yep, the best choice is a m&p or a brand that you never heard of. Think your maverick, 66, conoco, etc. Small 2 pumps.

If you are in Michigan, we are a border state with three entry points from Canada, actually four. Inbound traffic from Canada is up because they were for the last 6 months rushing to get products across the border.

As a Canadian I can understand your frustration as mentioned Michigan being a border state at the Love's in French town, MI where you can never find a spot to and the fuel lines are always packed even at 3 pm. Or St. Clair, MI when the fuel lines are packed around 5 however there are always enough parking spots available even at midnight because most Canadian Carriers are just stopping for fuel driving back to Canada. Who knows with these tariffs potentially occurring their might be less Canadian Truckers at these truck stops.

I hope so. Ive been seeing a lot of the canadians TRYING to start fights and who are intentionally being ######## recently. Though i did get to watch one get his ### beat a few days ago. He spit in the face of a driver who asked him to move after fueling and got pulled out of his truck and his ### absolutely handed to him over in nebraska before a couple other drivers pulled them apart. That was enjoyable to watch.

Though as much as id like to lay it all on them. its not just canadians. A LOT of drivers regardless of where they are from are acting like human trash. Seen americans, black white mexican middle eastern. Dont matter. Seems everyone is in a race to be the biggest ####### they can be.

Best advice is find ma and pa stops if and when you can and just avoid the big chains. This behaviour is far less likely at the smaller stops.

You're right. We got New Canadians with some washing their feet near the Waterhoses in the fueling lanes when I saw an American snap at one of them not to do that. Sadly, some Americans are calling them Canadians putting us all in the same group but their originally from another continent altogether bringing some terrible habits with them. But this seems to be the trending future right through North America. It's unfortunate.

If they waste your time, than waste theirs in the long run. Be a kind soul and rip off their trailer seal, or put a pad lock and toss the key in garbage. I have a 7 minute rule, once I’m finished getting fuel, I give 7 minutes for the other truck to get out of fuel island. After that it’s fair game.

That street dumper is lucky he didn't get killed. Wish I could have seen it. Everyone is tired of their BS.

Most likely New Canadians..they will park at fuel islands just to use facilities and take their 30,,,they are a nuisance in Canada as well not just in parking lots but on the highways as well
