Dark Wolf, I worked in dept 74 case machining. I did work in dept.10 for a couple of weeks back in 1990. I was also a jobsetter and I probably know your dad, if not by name, for sure by sight. I worked 30 yrs and took a buyout. Laid off 8 out of those 30.
Who are you driving for if you don't mind my asking? -
February 14 inc out of Grand Rapids, ya you would know him...Dave....

Boughtout, Nope 2 yrs OTR.....The web cam helps but when my two yrs old starts crying to the cam "I want my daddy" It's time to head to the house for a few days.

I hear ya. A lot of people say "my kids are the most important thing in my life" and that may be true, but my kids are the ONLY thing I care about in life. Without them, I would have no reason to live, and frankly, wouldn't want to.
-
boughtout, I have just one more question. Do you take your physical here or do they give it to you in Montana?
TIA -
Took it here. In Livonia at a Concentra.
-
Good deal, at least Watkins doesn't make you travel a long distance at the risk of failing a physical like most of the carriers do.
Do you ever have to go into New York City. I had to go in there back when I hauled cars and didn't care for it much.
Thanks again for all the info, you've been a great help.

I haven't, but have heard 1 or 2 OTR drivers have. Closest I have gotten is our terminal in Sayreville. Most NY runs come out of there for the local guys to do.
wildbill123 Thanks this.
