The 66 inches around here does not equal 6.5 feet as stated above, except perhaps with enhancement of some sort? Is this an advertisement?

I hate ads posted as postings.
There is a big problem with the list of "advantages", anyone with any antenna knowledge can point it out.Dirtymartini15x and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
I hope you can switch off the blue light. I dont like to visually reveal my coordinates when I transmit.
Especially when Im advising the entire radio listening world of my panty status, or repeating the phrase 'BaBa Booey' ad infinitum
Bob Dobalina, iron horse 128, jessejamesdallas and 3 others Thank this. -
This kind of reminds me from back in the 70’s when I sold something called fireflies. I think I sold them for $2.50 each. I basically doubled my money. Seems like I sold around a dozen of them. They were basically a little lightbulb on a rubber boot, and you slid them over the static ball on your steel whip antenna. When you key the mic, the rf current would make it glow. Only good at night though. Some people were concerned that it would effect the radios performance, but it didn’t seem to. You just had to be careful not to hit a tree branch or anything low that would break the glass, or else your antennas swr would go sky high. Just a minor flaw....lol.

So that's what the blue light is. Around here, a blue light going on and off would earn you a ticket from the State Police. They're pretty protective of a blue warning signal on the road.

Flashing blue lights on your vehicle can cause you some serious problems with those who are actually authorized to have flashing blue lights on their vehicles..........just sayin'!
rabbiporkchop and jessejamesdallas Thank this. -
As gay as this antenna looks with the flashing light the Sirio Performer 5000 is a really decent antenna. I don't think I'd waste the money on the Stryker antenna.
