No, sorry, they didn't, but you keep believing that

You're the one posting that Cali is all kombuya and roses, and the miscreants have nothing to do with why it's becoming more a crap hole

LMAO, which gov't program did you use to pull yourself up, as you've already alluded to?
God I wish I could, they'd be in better shape than the existing ones -
Yes, sorry, they did, which we know because of this thing called evidence. Of course certain disinformation outlets focused heavily on a few specific crimes (e.g. domestic battery) in order to deceptively give people the exact opposite impression. Nevertheless:
Bookings into county jails fell by at least 25% between February and May. By mid-April, St Louis, for instance, had recorded 45 murders, a considerable decline from 194 murders the same time last year
Crime Rates Across The US Affected By COVID-19
That's not what I said, which anybody on the planet can simply scroll up to see.
Ignorance is bliss.
The grant for CDL school gets discussed and recommended on this forum pretty frequently.
Right, and crime went up during covid too.Last edited: May 25, 2021

Ummmm
Cnn
US crime rise not letting up in major cities - CNN
Lets not kid ourselves, 2020, not a good year for crime decreasing
Another terribly sourced disreputable publication would also like to disagree with your rose colored glasses
Nih
Alarming trends in US domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic
And since when is domestic violence going up just being an alarmist but ignorable non-crime?
Everything you cited actually talks about fewer arrests, not lower crime
The most generous interpretation of your view is that short term (jan through april) crime fell, but basically may and on it took a much darker turn, almost as if everyone put things on pause to be responsible for a month or two (beginning of "lockdown") and then realised nothing was going to be getting better in any way, financially, eased restrictions, social tensions etc etcLast edited: May 25, 2021

That article says the same thing I said, crime was way down the first half of the year and then went back up after June, which was the state of affairs last I looked into it. But then apparently it kept going up and then went up some more.

A two month temporary dip followed by a yearlong spike isnt anywhere close to what youve been trying to insinuate.
You know it and I know it. The only question i have is if you just want to poke the conservatives as hobby or not. I have no interest in widening a gap that doesnt need to be as bad as it is and your behaviour isnt helping things.
I think quite little of the political factions and the imbecilic "all or nothing" platforms they promote.
I'm a la carte on the side of ME and the world i'd prefer to live in. That view, It also includes not lying to myself or others, so it tends to the empirical on a practical basis.
