It is a negligible expense unless u get stuck in the northeast. Even then it is not that bad.

Yep, Had a former student call me about it last week, said they were 60 trucks shy at that time. I told him to stay on the current (TNT) trainers truck till they got some trucks in. Maybe work a deal with our FM to start drawing team wages until he gets into a truck.
Hang in there Sly, it gets better.

Thanks!!! I'm just hanging out!! I found out today I'm 21st on the list. I would have requested to stay out with my Trainer (no big deal), but his lease ended yesterday... So he's taking 3 weeks off before signing another one!!

This situation isn't uncommon because of the manufacturer's holiday shutdown schedule. I took out an old truck with 90 days left before retirement. It was that or wait.

Sly, Ask leasing if they have any old trucks that they need to run the miles off of. I did the same as IP, My 1st truck was a 2 yr old that had 350k on it.

Latest update, since Sprinfield is still out if trucks, myself and 5 others volunteered to get in rental cars and drive to Salt Lake City to get trucks! 4 will get trucks there and 2 will drive back older trucks that need to be placed on the used lot for sale. Once the 2 get back to Springfield with the old trucks, they will be bumped up on the list to get the next available trucks!!

Id rather be driving to SLC and getting into a truck than sitting at the Inn waiting ... And also to start generating more income!!

We pull out around 8am in the morning and will drive straight thru!! :)

Good luck. Husband got a truck today. Probably won't be any loads out till MOnday they say. He had a new tire put on and they put a bolt in a loose airdam, hopefully nothing else will turn up on it.
