Didn't know they used to lease some 660s. As for the mid roofs, I was referring to full-size trucks. Almost all of the solo company reefer guys are given the "light weight" mid roofs. I think all of the tanker drivers have leased lightweight cascadias/Pete's on 5 year, lower mileage lease.

i was told by the guy who runs success leasing the new models they will be ordering this year are the cascadia evolution in July and a few t680s and international condos.

Those tractors aren't available normally to company drivers and new lease ops. After you've completed 3 years as a lease operator one can order just about anything.

Have a student that was ready to upgrade 2 weeks ago, but because of the lack of trucks it was agreed he would stay on the truck, through a scheduled home time, as a "B" seat. Finished that home time and STILL no trucks, SO now the student is taking home time and is going to come back out with some necessities for when he does get his truck. He comes back out next week, so hopefully next weekend he is going back to SPRIMO for an upgrade. Time will tell on this cause as of today STILL not enough trucks!!

I am currently at the Campus Inn and waiting for my TNT trainer who will be here around 4 PM. I have heard the current waiting list for trucks is at least 48.:biggrin_2551:

I have been told from one source that there are 150 on order and the reason for the shortage is because of the low current turnover rate of 50%.

Is it just company trucks they are short on? Or lease too?

I believe it is both. For new leases anyway.

You'd think that they could pry a few away from Pedigree until the shortage ends...

Just got my truck assignment today after being 12th on the list thursday.. currently have a 2012 with 152k on the dial although i wont be going anywhere until i see the maintence records and they fix a few small iasues with the lightweight..seems everyone that went company that was on the list of about 13 to has gotten there truck between thursday and today with one or two having issues not dealing with lack of trucks but having paper wrk done for lease before switching over to company..I will add i have seen a lot of 2014's rolling in everyday though.
