i miss the olden days, lol , we are definetely dating ourselves... but then again i remember $.25 cent a gallon gasoline too. diesel was like a nickel or a dime back then....and a large hershey bar for 10 cents or a coke or 7up for 5 to 10 cents depending on the size of the bottle.

Have all the old westerns on DVD. The very first Lone Ranger where he catches his trust steed Silver and his new found friend Tonto. Bonus point-What was Tonto's horse called?:biggrin_2559: No fair to google.

People talking about no power steering brings back memories. Not from me driving obviously since I'm way too young for that but from hanging on my dad's steering wheel. I hung out the door with all of my weight on the wheel and couldn't get it to budge. He backed up a little and it slightly moved lol. I can't imagine how tired he felt after a day in a daycab cabover with no power steering and springs then unloading a floor loaded to the ceiling trailer by himself everyday.

Most of us had a Whistler radar bird dog and hammered down until it barked.
