I know you are right...I was missing the money as an lp too but the good weeks were extra sweet. I won't know what I will really be making until I get a rythym going in new job.

Oh I'm so happy. Its amazing how they (you know who I mean) leap out of the woodwork the minute the word lease crops up..and this thread isn't even about that! But seriously..I'm glad to see you all.

 

Yes G-dog is my nickname. Im older myself, not Geritol level yet but still older... Do you still drive or is that Volvo 670 your imaginary truck.

 

Yes, I still run my own (authority) one man dog and pony show. Yes, that is my truck.

 

On the subject of money. I am getting highest per mile they can start at based on years of experience. Brace yerselves guys..its mind boggling... Yep 44 cents a mile. No. Stop. Really. I'm not bragging. Plus various accessorial pay. I also got a $2000 sign on bonus to be piecemealed out over 2 months..or is it 3..it doesn't matter. I wasn't expecting it anyway..free money.

Like I said we will have to see how it pans out when things settle in.

 

Not much I can say. I hope it continues to work out for you. I will put in my 2 cents though If you ever want to get back out there I have a lot of contacts with several loan companies. I am confident I could put you in contact with the right dealer to get away from LP. That is your decision though.

 

You know Scooter, I've heard some owners talking about what's involved in their own authority etc etc and I want you to know I admire and respect you for being able to get it altogether. You earn the money you make that is for sure.
