UturnGirl Thanks this. -
A few tidbits about my truck. Its pretty new. 107,000 miles and very nice. It has an espar heater. Yay! Lots of tiny cupboards with doors on them.
It is an automatic. I hate that part. Every time I come to a stop my left foot and right hand start flailing seeking clutch and gear shift. I feel like a turtle rolled on her back. And the best part? Speed limited at 62. I'm gonna miss my go fast truck.
Automatic shifts through all 12 gears stop to top. Makes me want to wet my pants. Merging on a 75 mph highway makes me very popular.
All the safety bells and whistles. A forward facing camera I can't access, a lane drift warning that sounds like painful flatulence, and collision control that sets off a panic at overpass on 156 which is one main route out of Haslet. Probably to avoid ever having to pay safety bonus. -
Bump the stalk up if it’s a Freightliner with the DT12 and you can start out up to 5th gear.

$45 for live load, $29 for drop & hook, $15 per hour for detention, $15 for TONU, $25 for hazmat, $30 for reefer load. You know the miles won’t make you the money for intermodal.

He is here to sell you his friend’s “loan” or “lease” truck service with 300% interest. Of course he has to inflate how much he makes to make you believe and ask where to get the screws from his “loan/lease” companies he recommends, and so he can get some commission out of it.

Believe what you want... doesnt matter to me.. I have my own authority and do my own dispatching and my own billing... I dont have "Nancy" doing it for me... I run dry van and I have set lanes with set customers that pay me set prices through what's called a "contract"... I'm not leased to some Joe blow where he takes his 20% cut... if your not profiting 30k in 2 months your doing it wrong bottom line. Sorry guys dont mesn to be blunt but I'm not lieing about any of this.bigguns Thanks this.
