I know you don't like me, I get that. But I dare you to do something. Ask your dispatcher for the rate confirmation sheet on your next load.

That’ll shake the tree. 10/1 odds are the dispatcher will say they don’t have access to a rate con, that’s a different department. They just look at the screen and give you what’s closest to you for pickup. Chances are, they know about as much as you do for the rate. Big Corp keep things nice and tidy.

They could share a desk and will never show it.

I’m not trying to play devils advocate, just pointing out how information does not spread in a large office.
Once you join their team, you need to play the game. Stay cordial with your contact person and after a bit they may invite you for lunch to meet face to face. That’s when I’d ask for my next loads rate con. If you are right there at the ivory towers, someone should be able to materialize it. Just be nice. Ask questions politely.

Look, if any carrier won't give you the rate con for a load and you have a percentage contract, THAT'S ILLEGAL!

Now, I get that many don't want to make wave, and that if you feel comfortable at mega carrier amalgamated incorporated, then you are going to play by their rules.

    Your choice.
For me, no. Where I am, the driver often has the rate con first because they book the load. Transparency isn't just a value, it happens to be the law!
Of course, we don't drive the newest equipment. A truck here is 200 a week. Not 525. Throw in a trailer (155) and you really will someday pay it off.

But if you buy the MCAInc lifestyle , that's fine.
There are many ways to skin a cat.

I think we are making too many assumptions. They may bring up a copy of the rate con on first request. I’m not hijacking this thread anymore. I’ll be quiet and watch.
