Back on the Road

Hey all....I'm Airbus from just south of Rochester NY....Airbus is a nickname some buddies of mine I race RC dirt track cars with gave me about 15 or so years ago....

I started off driving 6 wheel box trucks for a small distributing company in 1986, then when they close their warehouse in late 2001, I went to the Schneider training center in Carlisle and went out on the road....I quit Schneider in 2003 when my Dad had a stroke, and drove for a moving company, then for a roofing and building supply company who let me go back in January...

Since things are kinda bleak around here, I decided to give the pumpkin another shot, so 'm heading to Carlisle in the beginning of October (I hope) to get reacquainted with semi's and get back out there earning some money....

I'll likely use Airbus as my CB nickname, so listen for me...I've got an old Cobra 25LTD Classic, which has served me quite well over time....I have a noise canceling mike on it, but I forget which one....

I'll be a "system driver" to start with and go from there....I hope to hear and see some of you on the road...I'll probably get a laptop of some sort to keep me entertained while taking a break or waiting on a load....
