If your getting the steroids injections in the spine those work great from everyone I've know that's had them.
You guys really needed to go to the doctor and have him tell you put your wallet in the overhead?
Tell me you didn't. Even if you did, tell me you didn't.
You couldn't figure out for yourselves " My ### hurts." And do it yourself?jethro712 Thanks this. -
When I can, I used to ride sport bikes, part of the reason why I wrecked, tried to use skills that I didn't have. Here lately I cam only ride cruisers as my back doesn't like getting into a full tuck like needed on sport bikesbuddyd157 Thanks this.

My entire T section is eroded. The proper term is osteopenia. All of the loading is being refused by that set of disks in the dorsal section of the back between shoulder blades get shifted to the L section and S section below. I expect first two L's to fail sometime in a few years when they get tired of the entire spine standing on it. All I know it's going to hurt when they do.
I am also being told I got Osteo arthritis as well on top of everything else. As if I don't need that right now 20 to 30 years ahead of expected life time problems for those over 70 years old im in the 50's and presto... am where my grandmother was at 80 breaking something every time she walks to the store. Having that for herditary issues as well is not welcome.
I see way too many drivers failing to put in exercise. It is either they are already overworked in that trailer (Since when lumper fees got to 300 to 500 dollars a unload???) or maybe walking to the resturant all the way up from the back row of either Atlanta, Wolcott or Ontario for example. Those are long walks. But even longer are periods of rest. Combine that with bad food like McDonalds you can expect a variety of problems really easily in the blood panel, the fats and other issues that become pretty apparent rather quickly like weight gain.
Lucky are those drivers who do not carry a ounce of fat anywhere. But they should actually try to eat better and ease up the work, if they don't have a chance to accumulate and carry a good percentage of good fats or other beneficial things they might find later in life to be a little bit of challenge. -
Those injections are nice to have. I had one in a particular spot once and they had to guide that one by ultrasound. There are apparently 5 nerve sets that have the strength and consistency of cheap fishing line and so easy to snap or cut (Spinal cord system.) along with the **Chooses words.. capsuled spinal fluid that goes all the way to your brain stem and is required to be present in your body in fluid form. There is a big word name for this particular substance. But we would not be able to function very well if at all without it.
Sometimes I have to give God praise at his knowledge and skillful construction of Man and Woman when it was time for Him to do so and to do it correctly so that everything works well for both man and woman.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
After driving mostly non air ride suspensions for 35 years, my back is trash. My back always hurts and there are days that I can't get out of bed. The Federal Goverment always bought crap trucks from the lowest bidders

It helps to stretch the hamstring a couple times a day. Bad l3 l4 l5 herniated and arthritic. Just put your leg on the steps and stretch them it may help. Helps me alot.

Spending the $1200-1500 on a good seat is a sound investment.

Folks who return for more surgeries due to what is referred "adjacent segment disease" is generally a pre-existing condition such as arthritis or a host of other ailments. Keeping your core muscles fit makes a huge difference. Most folks back pain is not so much mechanical as it is weak muscles and IF you do the exercises doctor prescribes you may avoid surgery. Keep core muscles strong. I was diagnosed with a deteriorated disc 25 years ago and staying fit and no fat put off surgery until recently. Today its laser guided drill to punch those holes in vertebrae to drop the lag bolts while you are on the surgery rack for 6 1/2 hours
