the poster that wants the leather seat
I wonder if he realizes it is the padding and not the leather makes the difference
and someone saying back pain is impaired driving
would put 75% of drivers out of service
Does he think the 500 lb'ers reaction time is very good?

The leather doesn't breathe either; fabric is better.

You talk about the seat back having the screen with the airplane , I heard a comedian talking about the worst movie he ever saw on a overseas flight was called " Time To Destination " :biggrin_25525: He said it was just a picture of a plane flying over the earth but it lasted the whole flight so he watched it, Lol

We are so lucky nowadays, many advances in driver comfort, seats, air ride susp. and cabs. I drove a Frightliner[sic] Columbia that had triple air, and I tell you what, that thing rode better than my pickup. Years ago, I heard of old timers( older than me, GASP) that would sit on wheel barrow inner tubes, or wire the seat adjust lever to get some sort of isolator movement from the drivers seat. The first heavy duty truck I drove was a '63 IH R-190 tandem dump truck with NO rear suspension(rubber pads)and then moved on to a R model Mack (camelback susp.) that rode so rough, it would pop out of gear. I had to have a tarp strap around the shifter to keep it in gear. Yes, we've come a long way.

The leather makes a difference in this way. I haul flatbed and get seated up strapping, chaining and tarping. The denim of my jeans sticks to the fabric of the seat. I shift in my seat and my jeans don't move with me like they do on leather.

Fabric does not breathe that well that I would notice a difference, especially when I am sitting on it, but they do absorb moisture and hold it for awhile and that is not good.

Thanks, I ordered one. I will try adjusting the armrest levels. After today, I will have 2 armrests to adjust, which will be good.

Yessir. I had that problem too when I first started driving. I was talking to an old timer in the truck stop one day explaining how my hip was bothering me after a few hours of driving. He told me to take the wallet out of my pocket. I'll be ###### if that didn't work.

It hurts a little, I roll super slow over it for about 3-4 minutes. Seems like it puts things back where they should be.

another good one for pressure points is:

the best one I've found for neck troubles:
    http://www.amazon.com/Body-Back-Com...sbs_hpc_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0M26SVY5FTN5B5H7VYYG

the one I already posted for alignment
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CC3TUSG/ref=oh_details_o06_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've tried several devices, but the three I've posted on this thread have allowed me to stop going to the chiropractor, which I'm sure is very inconvenient for drivers.
