They do use qualcomm but no nav with it, my DM says we're gonna switch to zonar by March of next year and it'll have nav, I gotta 770 garmin and that thug is BA. Trucks are 62mph on the floor and 65 on cruise and equipped with cow guards on the nose, ( I think they look cooland lots of room in these 680s beats the heck outta them old 660s those things are not made for a big boy like me. Storage everywhere! That's a big plus and 1500w inverter installed for tv microwave etc etc

Update 2:
I'm at boise idaho at the pilot here waiting to unload monday. It's nice because I've needed a 34 hr restart and having tomorrow off will gimme that. Helped a fellow driver out 3 days ago by relaying his load to Denver at 0 dark 30 because he was out of hours. DM gave me lots of thank yous and is just a real good dude. My truck I can't get over, runs like a champ and rides really smooth. Went through Wyoming yesterday and man its freakin windy there just fyi. But really do like how I'm being treated and how I have plenty of time to deliver the freight. All these posts on navajo not giving there drivers plenty of time to deliver a load Is not really adding up to me, unless there the run 80 miles and stop for a coke break drivers. Because they give me sufficient time to make the appointment. I'm very happy with where I'm at.
Thanks for hearing me out yall, safe travels... more updated to come. Love being on this forum with all you other drivers btw. Don't know why I didn't join a long time ago -
Plus I just ran 589 miles today with still an hour and a half left to run. Just keep them wheels turning and I don't care if you got a 60 mph truck like STi lol. You'll make the miles. Just seems like alot of drivers stop too much in my opinion. Had a Flatbedder doing #### near 80 blow the doors off of me in Ogden today, then again and again. 3 times... same dude no lie, he was an independent. 80 mile coke break driver right there I thought to myself lol.
Yall have a good day -
Yeah, you know how rumors are here. This one is BS, like so many others. How are they "slowly" going to buy out a privately-owned company? It's not like they can do it through stock acquisition. Now that the newest batch of trucks are sporting all white livery, I imagine those rumors will be more persistent, but BS, all the same.
That was two years ago they did that.
Not by any means. Majority of it is single trailer, reefer primarily, with some dry vans. Have seen a couple times where they've hauled trailers as cargo... once, it was flatbeds, I've seen them pulling frac tanks and pneumatic bulk tanks (as freight, especially as the trucks aren't equipped with a blower to use them operationally). But those kinds of loads are a bit uncommon.
Yeah, that's a fairly recent addition, and we're still in the process of putting on the T680s #3207 and up (which are the ones with the Wingman system). If you're in Denver on a slow day - especially a weekend - and you haven't gotten one yet, you're probably gonna get pulled into the shop to get it installed. Any of the T680s from 3206 and down which have the guards are L/P trucks whose lessees bought them (with the exception of 3202). Freightliners are supposed to get them next, assuming that plan doesn't get disrupted by the arrival of the Peterbilts (which will likely also have the Wingman on them).
Only on the ones with the Thermo King APU. The ones with the Comfort Pro units use a generator, so you only get 110v power when the APU is running.T_Bone and Smoken0221 Thank this. -
I could've swore Costco dedicated pulled doubles though?
-
They do.... Rocky Mountain doubles, primarily. But it's not the majority of what Navajo does.
Smoken0221 Thanks this. -
Oh I see 10-4. I got the Thermo king, I'm putting in a fridge and tv next hometime for sure. And yea I seen those white fendered ones just a few days ago. Kinda hit the eye wrong, nor used to it. I seen the 10 series white fenders like truck "1026" per say are the smaller sleepers like the 660s not condos. The got that fixture on top of them to make em even with the vans for aerodynamics.
