If hometime is the issue as you have small kids and want to see them often;check the transport section of craigs list for your area. You might find a class B job that might give you a shot. One of my boys was hired by a beer distributer, hard work but started at $13 per HR plus OT(didn't last, laid off)His twin brother worked 2 months delivering building supplies at $14 per HR,same thing happened to him they got slow and laid him off;that's when he decided to go OTR,didn't want to get laid off again. Another class B job is driving laundry trucks to hotels,or bottled water,or dump trucks, etc.
Point is you have a class A but you can drive Class B,even school bus -they will train you,or tour/city bus.The jobs are out there but you have to get you applications out there, don't give up,you will find somethingxlsdraw Thanks this. -
Well, there have been a number of suggestions in the thread. The fact is that YOU are going to have to be the one to make up your own mind, we can't do it for you.
Life just gets sucky some times, doesn't it? I think that most of us have been in a "Now What The Hell Do I Do" situation. It is never easy. Good luck on whatever you decide.xlsdraw and rocknroll nik Thank this. -
Good point, keep checking Craiglist everyday! Sometimes I see some really good gigs posted on there!
