Back up light not working. 2015 cascadia

    i've had the switch replaced 4 times so far. truck is under warranty, shop will replace it without even mentioning it.

    they last about 2 days. then it stays on. so i keep unplugging the light. but i drove the truck for a year without it even working.

    it's more then likely the switch, specially with that new of a truck. but the switches don't last.

    boss paid 120k, and in about 6 months, they'll be getting traded in.

    Thank you. That is what I was afraid of. Very helpful post, I knew someone had to have dealt with this before. It is just hard to find info on it.

    At any rate, it is a moot point. The next day the light started working again and has been working fine for the past few days. If it happens again I guess I'll know where to start now.

    I have a 2007 Coronado and it didnt work either. I just ran another line to it and connected it into my utility light line.

    Test lights are inexpensive. Start at the light and work forward til the test light lights up.

    I had this problem and it was a pinched wire up near the transmission.

    the tail lights of the tractor straight connected to sam cab. for diagnostics DiagnosticLink must be used.
