Technically I think that would be...

Back up until you hit something, then 8 feet more.

Brand new dollar general gets built on a slope where they built up a pad and did a stone retaining wall and railing. First week two kids in a sleeper cab 53 van decide to do a 180 in the tiny lot [which is an engineering disaster for trucks, essentially back in only from a busy road and plug the stores only entrance]

Anyhow trailer tail knocks the whole railing and wall out. Kid just kept pushing backward to make clearance for the tractor nose to pass the building. It was a real usa truck moment. Codriver just sat in the passenger seat. Couldnt be bothered to spot his partner.

I have actually done that before, it was a very light kiss, but when I walked back to see how close I was, I was touching. lol
I figured the driver would come say something, but he didn't.

not a lot of times you'll find if you don't own your own trailer and you pull company trailers somebody gives you a little kiss goodnight you just pretty much ignore it...
now if you had some big fancy piece of equipment your own all decked out with a shiny hiney and everything else that's a different story
