And just a heads up................. They can send you packing from orientation for any darn reason they want, in fact,.....they need NO reason !!!!!!!
We gave them permission to do a check when we applied. We were completely checked out prior to showing up at school. The only thing left that we had to do was the tinkle in the cup test.
thanks bill and nanna. so nanna i have seen many post by you over the threads and know you are with swift. how do you like them. and i asume that when my recruiter told me they had done the bg check then she was telling me the truth.thanks in advance
Yes I'm with Swift and I like it. They've treated my husband and I very well. I will tell you that I know others (both on this forum and off) that love Swift and others that have not had good experiences with Swift. A great deal depends upon the person, the fleet, the mentor, the DM, the fleet manager. Things have changed so much in pre-hire and schools that I'd suggest to you just bluntly asking your recruiter if they've already done a background check. Also...sometimes things are checked but don't pop up until school. I had forgotten but when my husband got to school a ticket showed up on his record that had been taken care of in 1979 but the paper work in Mass wasn't done properly. So they showed him as having had his DL revoked in 1983. Swift helped clear the matter that day. You just don't know sometimes what will pop up. If you've got a concern........take care of it now.
