Those two felonies are going to kick your butt because of what they are. It will take some work and outside the box thinking to overcome them.

Most of the classes I have looked at are in the $3,000 - $4,000 range.

The reason why you need to find a comprehensive background check is that to do a good check you used to have to check every county of residence. There are probably national databases now. They will be pay to use and only as good as the people who reseach and add information to the database.

In my state you can access criminal information online for free and the state database includes all counties. It is called Case Net. You can also go to or mail a request to both MO and OK and get a record check. They both charge a fee.

If I were you I would search online and see if I could get it free. Many states are making all these records available online and free.

I can find any vehicle violations in the same database in Missouri.

Try Trans Am. If they will not take you no Big company will

you have 2 MAJOR strikes against you

Trucking companys looks at it this way. you have a felony for Possession of marijuana... They dont want you in there truck transporting drugs all over the country. Second you have a Larceny. They wont want you picking up a load of high dollar merchandise to have it come up missing.

    This is just my opinion.

You would think that they could do that quicker these days, and e-mail it rather then snail mail it too.

They are too busy taking care of the customers that pay $250 for a report.

I spent 30 minutes waiting and going around with them trying to buy a report on myself as a driver. They said the only way to get one was if I had applied to a company. Basically like when you are refused credit.

They don't even have anything on me, I was just researching for the forum.

Then I hung up and spent another 30 minutes waiting and going around with them posing as a company. I was trying to get an exact price for this report. The only way to get a price is give them your information and sales will call back.

The first person I talked to had such poor english it was almost impossible to communicate. The second person was much better.

I really don't know how long it takes. Years ago it used to take a lot of time because you had to search county records at each location the person had resided. I'm sure there are much better databases today.

Was this with HireRight (the 30-minute phone calls)? Not that I expect the experience would be consistent for everyone but when I called about my own, the woman asked for my SSN and 10-seconds later started telling me what was there.

    SheepDog Thanks this.
