The leasing companies want you to have bad credit! Good credit.... make him a company driver. All them companies advertise "No Credit Check". That doesn't mean the upper end safety sensitive jobs don't. Many white collar jobs resort to credit checks, to verify ones character. You do authorize a credit check when you sign that release form. But many don't go that far. They have to pay for every bit of info. You can do without it.
You have not filled out an application lately? I filled out a couple applications in the past couple months, I had to sign a second form that allowed them to check my credit at both companies. When you start to read the form it looks like a "hold harmless"......but reading further it also allows them to check your credit.
I agree I just filled an online app out and the second page was a credit and background release. and this was for a driving job. Not OTR though.
Pull your credit report, Dac, MVR every 3-4 months. You be surprised what may show up. And folks say you get 1 free DAC a year, I never have been charged a penny, and pull mine about 2-3 times a year.
do you go thru hireright or another comp to pull yer dac so often? I have requested my dac from hire-right bout week & half ago still not got anything back prob just call them in morning
Why not run your own and see what comes up? It's not expensive to do and you get the results quickly. Google background checks, there are plenty of online options.
No problem with background check. The PO was never served, so it never made it to the state criminal records. He passes background and renewed CDL no problem
