So funny I have pulled of some very difficult docks and weird places with pure luck. On the other hand I remember one specific night in MI that took like 10 pullups in one of the easiest places ever. Go Figure

can you roll the curtains up or is a wall in the way? when you cant see is it because of the angle of the trailer?

Ahhhh...unloading a Curtainside (been there..) whole new set of parameters. Just do what you do and keep practicing. Boat even backed me up, and he's kinda sorta new. Yes, it will come into place one day, probably SOON~!

Just butchered a simple alley dock with plenty of room and no crazy jack needed tonight. Might be going around

I have a door I have to hit on a regular basis at the plant I work at. This plant was built in the 1800s and this door was originally made for horse and buggies. Not kiddin. I have poles on my drivers side and concrete barrier on passenger. There is litterally a quarter inch on each side.

What I do, if you dont mind my chipping in. Once you get it straight back up a little bit at a time. Stop. Check each mirror. Then if you have to correct. Barely turn the wheel before you start backing. Back another inch or two. Stop check the mirrors. Back another inch or two the stop. Check mirrors, repeat till you are in the door. Stop and really analyze both mirrors, goal if you need to. If you focus in mirrors as you are backing you will hit if you look too long in one mirror. That is why I say stop then check them. Gives you time to see where you are positioned. Good luck.

Is this one of those socks you have to back into a building aswell? Not just against a dock but INTO it... Had a couple that were designed for 96 when I had 102 when I did flatbed the hardest part is being about blind if this is the case get a flashlight or 2 and put them inside the dock along the edge

Take your time. You already are going to lose your doors anything less than that space.

Im good to one inch. But remember two incidents where docks had rubbed all tires due to no space larger than 102 inches in poured concrete curbing. My company had a fit. I told them don't send me back there. (They did not.) I might have a picture of it somewhere.

There are times you gotta get into spaces that are pretty tight. If your trailer is out of alignment on it's tandem, forgetaboutit.
