1: Left on the steering is right on the trailer.
2: right on the steering wheel is left on the trailer.
3. Drive your trailer tires, not the end of the trailer.
4. A little correction goes a LONG way.
5. Get Out And Look.
It's all about experience. Starting out, go buy a toy semi and back it up. Look at how the tractor moves in relation to the trailer. This helped me a lot.
My backing skills have improved with practice and I've done some hairy backing. Do all the practice you can.
