Being shown how is one thing.. doing it is another. I've noticed a trend with trainers so far they seem to get bipolar when it comes to backing. Everything else is fine and they are all smiles. But once it comes to backing the #### thing up, here comes the wrath. My guess is it's because they are not getting paid right then and they cant go in and order a subway and watch TV. They have to stand out there and wait for their trainee to get it parked. Otherwise its just done at the end of a day a lot of times after 10 hours of driving, so we are tired. The first time I tired to back from a street at the end of a day was a disaster. The next time I did it from a street in Louisville, it was early in the day and I nailed it on my second try. It was a narrow dock too. Another time very recent I had to back into a wide-open truck friendly dock. It was at the end of 10 hours of driving overnight. I couldn't hit that dock to save my life. It was embarrassing. LOL. I mean it was WIDE open. Part of the problem might have been no lines. So I didn't have my reference point.

Take advice from 1 teacher, not everyone around you.
