I think thats why many people move to U.S. Theres no affording a house in canada anymore... That was 20 30 years ago when you could buy a house for 100,000
Unless you want to live far far up north
New generation is ####ed -
Trainer goes back and tells the "higher-up's" that the kid can't drive, AND he's a mouthy insubordinate unwilling to be taught. Result: company kicks him to the curb and brings on the next applicant.
This isn't 1992 any more x1Heavy...things have changed. -
And were canadian.... Suppose to talk all fancy and nice here.
But I could of told him im clear... I can see what im doing.... But thats easy to say too... When your new at something your going not have that instinct to tell someone you know better thats been driving longer than you...you end up believing them. Then when you realize you got kicked out of driver seat you were right anywayx1Heavy Thanks this. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.

Getting unloaded for me is more complex because you need to find out where your going on the construction site, which truck was infront of you, whether your waiting infront of where there are doing paving or behind, whether you gave truck enough room to get by. Sometimes you pull in and theres too many trucks and its an overload. Or they finish paving a lane now your in wrong lane to back into spreader etcx1Heavy Thanks this. -

Well I think ill be going out myself soon... So I wont be as scrutinized with a trainer sitting next to me. It may make things easier... I dont know. Its not necessarily easy having someone in the passenger seat all day/night. Some mistakes ive made could of been huge mistakes without a trainer...but I think it's getting to point where ill need to figure some things out on my own and ride alone
Theyve been pretty fair allowing me to take as much time as I need to feel comfortable. So its not like they pulled me in for a couple days and expect me to swim on my own. They know its my first truck I was honest with them -
I endes choosing dump trucks because I thought they were alot cooler than any other truck, and I was given an opportunity. I dont think any other dump truck company would even touch me
-
First thing they tought me and stressed was take it slow take your time, no rush
..seemed pretty important so I took it from there. Atleast I knew I wouldnt have to drive around like I know it allx1Heavy Thanks this.
