downshifting, you need to "bump" the fuel to get the engine to the RPM that the next lower gear will be at....backing? whats that? I pull a flatbed..j/k..lol

Well i went down to dps and failed on my skills got the conventional parallel and pointed out woo hoo ive got me some great instructors lol

as i had mentioned in my earlier post to you, i didn't think you were ready.
just keep practicing, next time you'll get it..!! -
you really just have to look at one side of the trailer while straight backing.sometimes once or twice look at the other side. as far as downshifting.i been floating gears my whole life even when I took my cdl test. You can tell by listening to the engine when the rpms are going down,you dont have to wait till the engine is lugging tho.rev the motor up and place into the lower gear,i shift a super 10 and i got #### good at it(quite fun)
