    I ran spread axle for a while. Then I had sliding tandem flat that were close set. I'd spread tandems to back in just because it was easier (at that time). RGNs are same way. After a while, it's just easier to back a trailer with axles all the way back.

    Maybe your boss will compromise and buy you a tanker with spread axles and a dump valve for each axle

    The company that I work for has rolloff trailers with that setup, well at least you can lift the front axle.

    I drive 53' with axles fixed all the way back its different thats for sure
