Dont worry about anyone else, take the time you need. I team with my husband and a month ago he was backing into a dock and taking his time because it was a very tight spot with a cement wall next to it and three boxes had shifted, causing them to be laying by the trailer back doors so he didnt want to make any sudden moves causing them to fall out. Because he was moving slow, the dock worker asked me "where did this guy get his CDL?" I told him "the same place I did, do you have yours?" When he said no, I told him "then shut up and unload our trailer." I think he got the point. Good luck in the future!

I will do my best. When my fellow truckers see me,I ask that you have patience. You will know when it's me because I look like I'm 12 and running solo.

If you were a football player, I'd say you have great fundamentals and instincts for success. Seriously, don't ever change. Time will make you feel more confident though.

One tip, watch where your tandems are going instead of the back of the trailer so much. Pick a spot on the ground well in front of the parking space where your tandems need to be in order to roll safely into the parking space. Just when they begin to get in position, start bending that trailer in. When I began doing it like this, it all fell into place.

A few weeks ago I had to go down into Key Towers and it doesn't happen every day, but my left leg was shaking really really good on that one. It's a little bit of a tricky back in, although not the worst one we have, we have worse.

See, @Woodchuck88 .... the quivers still happen. (Isn't he amazing, tho, @Mike2633 ?? ... Heck you've only got a couple years on him. This guy has potential, methinks!)

Just don't start backing in a spot when I'm trying to get out.

    I don't have the time.

    LoL
