Every driver that's worth their salt has held up a few people trying to get it in a tight spot somewhere. The good drivers that see you being paranoid all know what's going on and will just pop their brakes and do paperwork or whatever. Some good drivers that are in a hurry will get out and spot you, but they know that you need to do it yourself if you're ever really going to get decent at it.

Who gives a #### about the rest of them?

Well I don't need room since I drive team, and I don't stay at truck stops.

Just don't want to be held up by some one backing when I'm trying to leave, and make money. No time to sleep for us...LoL.

    J/K...haha

Team or not, (j/k haha?) Don't you park whilst you and your teamie shower???? Or do you just hang out in the fuel island for each of y'alls' 30's??? Just WONDERING... ;) I'm home daily and off weekends, pulling a tank, but leme tell ya; I park for my 30 whilst I grab a Sub, or use the restroom, and/or the microwave in the store, to warm my leftover veggie lasagna (thanks to dave in AZ, can't quote him because my hyphen/underscore button quit on me!) I STILL park.

I did teams for FedEx/LineHaul for a year and 2 months..... try to park doubles.... sometimes you have to break the SET to get a shower. Yay, that was fun.... hehehe.. NOT>

Well, yes, we park....right in the fuel island.

Then, leave, and we have to wait for others who can't back into a spot.

I'm a day cabber so I don't do truck stops either. I spend most of my nights at my house (okay parents house I still live with them :eek:), but when I do have to go away overnight the company gives me a hotel room.

Here's some food for thought young'n....All those jackwagons critiquing you on your backing at the truckstops are more than likely only able to do that because their own backing is so bad they have to get there early enough so there's still tons of open spots for them to swing through without having to back in anywhere tight.
    In other words, fugg 'em.
