Backlotcars pros and cons? Have you dealth with them?

Yes, that is when we have the issue with vinlocity, we need to mark damages, go over to screen to mark location, then back to mark type of damage then back to mark size of damage and inevitably in that scrolling back and forth is where we freeze up.

 

Yeah. I don’t do all that. It’s a hassle. I don’t see my insurance honoring a claim when I have pictures of it with a rep signing the thing. I’ve done it that way with Acertus on carmax cars. No issue. I just snap the pics, sometimes my finger is in it pointing, make a comment “multiple hail dents roof” or something. On to the next pic. CAN is horrible about marking damage if you’ve ever used it.

 

Know people that use them and havent heard anything too bad. Just like with anything in life. If you are willing to hustle and put the work in, you will do just fine. No shortcuts out here
