Definitly talk to a recruiter and don't hide nothing from Roehl.
They are a good company but they are strictly black and white. No gray areas.
I have been with them since June 2012 but was terminated yesterday due to pending felony charges for possession of controlled substances. I used to be the general manager for a tobacco wholesaler that also had a little retail tobacco store. The store sold "herbal incense" and the city, county and state came in 5 weeks before the stuff was outlawed and not just took the incense, but rolling papers, rolling machines, etc.. and even every single computer. Due to that, the company couldn't do their state reports and the company ended up shutting down 9 months later. The raid happened in July '11 and the company shut down in March '12. I wanted to do something different so I got my CDL and came on with Roehl in June '12. Well, in August '12 I got home for home time and found out there was a warrant for my arrest. I hired an attorney and then surrendered myself and posted bail. Then I listened to my attorney and didn't tell Roehl what happened until last Tuesday. They suspened me until this is resolved. They rented me a car to get home (600 miles away) and after I got home they called me and told me I was terminated. They did give me the option to resign but I had to let them know before we hung up the phone. So I picked termination. If I would have told them back in August when I wanted to, the same outcome would have probably happened.

Talk to them and hold nothing back. I've been with them since June 2012 but was terminated yesterday due to a bogus charge of felony possession of a controlled substance. I used to be a general manager of a tobacco wholesaler which had a little retail outlet store. Back in July 2011 the city, county and state came in and shut us down due to the store selling herbal incense. We could have stayed open but they not only took the incense, but took every computer also. Due to that we were basically shut down. We kept the wholesale end going for about 9 months but couldn't get any of our licenses renewed due to our state reports not being submitted because we still hadn't got our computers back yet. Anyways, I got my CDL and started with Roehl in June 2012. In August 2012 when I got home for home time I found out that I had a warrant for my arrest for possession. I hired an attorney and surrendered myself and posted bail. Being charged with a Class C felony. I then listened to my attorney and didn't tell Roehl. Not until last Tuesday. They suspended me until the outcome of the charges and rented me a car to get me home. I got home yesterday, they called me and said I was terminated. Overall they are a very good company but they are strictly black and white. They don't look at the whole picture. I did make the mistake by not telling them last August when this happened, but I bet the outcome would have been the same though. The only thing this pending charge affects me working for them (or any company) is going into Canada. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty.
