Nah, just likely more experience dealing with those who compose the questions.
-
Question asked for combination vehicle, you were correct.
The test showed result for a single vehicle.driverdriver Thanks this. -
The key to with alot of these questions is reading into it note its does say single vehicle, is a semi a single vehicle? obviously otherwise the answer would be 4 psi either that or the dept of transport need to change the answer.

I have no experience dealing with anyone That's ever composed questions for a DMV manual.
-
Well the question worked. I did not remember about the Static Leak test and was only familiar with the Applied Brake test. . It will be funny if they ask this question tomorrow.
-
It will probably worded differently, lol

If the book says one thing and the test marks it wrong, oh well. Read and practice the online tests often enough that you can't fail, even if they do mark 1 answer wrong. My philosophy is if the book says Stop signs are red and the tests marks "red" as wrong big deal. I pass with a 99 instead of 100.
I don't find much value in careful discussion of the test questions. It's multiple choice. If they want A, give them A. The test is not real life. I've never been given a pop-quiz by DOT.fargonaz and driverdriver Thank this. -
This is not the only sample test I have seen formatted wrong. Crap happens. When you take the real test I suspect the questions and answers will be correct and match. To me the most important aspect is you should know what these rates are.

Just wanted to give an update - I passed the CDL permit today with all endorsements except passenger and school bus. And yes, the question discussed here came up twice heh. I had to take 8 tests total including taking the motorcycle written test again and the basic knowlege test for Class C I think, plus everything else. To anyone that is thinking of getting your CDL in California, BEWARE of extremely, extremely long lines. I was shocked. I arrived at 7:50 AM and did not leave until 4:50 PM. Yep, I was there for 9 hours, 5 of them standing up in line with hundreds of other people. It was horrible. I asked several DMV employees why the lines were so long, they were not that way the previous times I went there, why it was taking so long but none really had an explanation. I talked to some people and a few brought up California AB 60, drivers licenses for illegal aliens increasing the number of people going to the DMV and causing the long lines. Anyway, very rough day and I am glad it is over. Thanks again for being there helping with the test question. I think I have 1 more class, then 4 hours on the road with instructor then time for the DMV skills/pre trip. Memorizing the pre trip is going to be a bi*tch, I don't know how you guys do it.
driverdriver Thanks this.
