Hello, I have been to alot of cb shops around the country and about 5 mths ago I got on line for a cb shop to fix my Ranger 6300 F-turbo that I bought for $500. I found a guy that I talked with and he seemed decent and "Jack" called me several times and I thought he was ok. I sent him my radio, and a check for $140 for his fixing the problem that he seemed positive at time was wrong and the money to send my radio back via a flat rate box. Well 5 mths, NO radio, NO contact on his part, and NO return of any sort. He has a web site up for "fire communications" aka "292 radio shop". His web site has all sorts of blacklists on other shops and as much as you try you can't add to that list or double check anything. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! I run on a "Dedicated" type run so don't get into his area any more, but figured that all drivers need to know of the dangers of trusting some one with your belongings, no matter how good they sound. I was foolish and still I want to give this guy "Good" public info about him and his shop. I can give anyone his full info if you want to let me know, I would be glad to give "Jack" some of his own medicine. Thanks
Have at it and I hope you cost him LOTS OF WORK .........
