Change jobs. Set up an orientation date with a new company, then quit the company you're with. Personally, I wouldn't give a notice to an outfit like that.

Sometimes with very valuable loads, companies do not want you to stop a lot. Since you know, you can get robbed and stuff. But if its like that for every load, then #### em. Holding that #### in , is extremely bad for you.

The ONE exception I can potentially see here, is if you're hauling high value loads along the same route through bad areas, regularly???
IF that were the case, I can see why they wouldn't want you to stop. But, I'm sure you're aware of convoy security practices, if SHTF.

Yeah, if the golden stream or fudge river has to flow, it's gonna happen, regardless of what any dispatcher might say. I'd dare say that, if you got on his desk and dropped a steamer on it, it would drive that point home, quick. Would not recommend actually doing this, though.

How about asking dispatch if they give drivers a company piss jug. Something nice with the company logo or name on it. Every day you can turn in the full one and get a fresh new jug everyday.

I completely understand time sensitive freight and the value of a driver that keeps his nose in front of the windshield. However, no freight or load is that valuable or important that a 5 minute potty break would be prohibited by the company. I'm afraid I'd tell them to shove it.

Don't let them micro manage when you get to take "breaks." If they have a problem with you stopping then that is a problem for them. If they threaten you then tell them you will be contacting the FMCSA and actually do it. If you contact the FMCSA then there will be a record of what you were alleging and it will help you if future endeavors. Review you safety manual I am sure there is something in there to address your situation. You would be surprised how many people will back down when someone actually stands up.

Roll by the office window in low gear with the door open standing out on the step spraying down the parking lot and see what they say afterwards. Seriously though you need to find someplace a little more humane to work.

I am ex USAF. When flying you can't stop so we had equipment to allow us to flow on the go. That equipment was issued. While driving I use a bottle. It is gross but so am I.

What I do by choice is different then what I do if someone tells me I can't. I fight bullies. Tell me I can't do something and we will see about that.

You need to first find out who your safety officer at the company is. Then you tell them that it is UNSAFE for you do drive while needing to relieve yourself. It at the very least is a distraction. Once that is on record you are protected by federal law. If you are fired for stopping, you sue. I also believe that the Americans with Disability Act would cover you.

Of course as a fighter I get fired often. You have to pick your battles. I would fight this one.

Now once you do stop, which bathroom you use is up to you.
