bad credit financing

I had bad credit when I got my first truck. I got a good deal but I had to put 30% downpayment. If you're looking at a 40k truck it's easy to come up with 15k downpayment but the main concern is will you have at least 10,000$ incase of any repairs that might happen within first few months.
