Bad DEF quality and Nox sensor ? Check engine lights but they come and go

You can drain, rinse with distilled water and refill... Make sure it's distilled, no other types of water...

I'm not sure why you posted this. Do you have a question? If so, 3 faults on an unknown truck of an unknown year with an unknown engine, won't get you many good answers. We're not mind readers, help us help you,

 

Did you find out what the problem was. I think I’m having the same issue my code showing is 545 16 0 eng 0 comes and goes check it before was something about the nox sensor. 2014 Freightliner Cascadia Cummins ISX

 

Hi I’m having a problem where I have 3 codes(spn 4811fmi 2)(spn5394fmi17)(spn3675fmi5) any help with getting this fix is welcomed.. oh and it’s on a 2012 Volvo d13 @GrapeApe

 

Having the same problem. You can tell the truck is derated already. Code is spn4364 fmi 2 it's a 2013 Freightliner cascadia with a dd15 engine. Any insight is much appreciated.

 

I have that exact same code this past winter and again these past two weeks. It comes on about 20 minutes after getting on the highway. But then clears itself several minutes later.
I have Detroit Diagnostic Link. I ran a couple of tests and determined that my outlet NOx sensor was out of range. Should have been within 15% of the inlet NOx sensor but was 40% under. ( Low temp ATD test, and NOx conversion efficiency test).
This weekend I changed the outlet NOx sensor ($500). I won’t know for a few days if it does the trick. I’ll let you know.

 

Nope. Didn't change a thing. Got the same code climbing a hill today.
My DPF filter is near the end of its useful life, 92% full. I'll wait until I get it changed out in another few months and see if that's effecting it.

 

Yup same here . Codes come and go , now I'm having to regen more often. Quality and Nox codes.

 

Tomorrow I'm going to try a DOC plugged face routine. It takes about 4-1/2 hrs to run it.
