I'm not saying that new or reman parts can't be bad. For the most part they seldom are. Unless we are talking about nozzles for a B model lol. Thing is if your getting any out the exhaust port and it's not the head then it's having to fill the cylinder up first which would take a fairly good leak. It would also hydro lock when you tried to roll it. I'm with superhauler I Would start with the gasket, coulda rolled a rubber or left one out. Pull the plug and see if you have coolant on top the cylinder. (Sorry mechanic slang for injector).

I was probably twelve, maybe thirteen, when my dad sent me out to the loader to pull the plugs and see which hole was filled up. Of course, being a dumb kid I said "but dad, it's a diesel, it doesn't have spark plugs".wore out Thanks this.
