Bad Mic?

    I have a uniden radio don't remember the model number right off hand but I can hear really good on it but when I key the mic up nobody can hear me. They say they can hear me keying up but can't hear anything. Could it be the mic or in the radio any ideas?

    I think it could be either or. The same thing just happened with my old cobra 25. I switched mics and it ended up beeing something in the radio. Mine would key up and talk every now and then and just dead key. If you have another mic you may try switching them and see what happens. Alot of mics are interchangeable with the cobras and uniden and galaxy radios.
