I'm not making excuses I'm being truthful and telling my story here that may help anybody else one day, I have nothing to hide. But I understand in this day of age you have to play the game right to be considered. But i don't care about that! Yes I ####ed up back then and I've accepted that. As a GOD fearing young man I believe my honestly and growth will always prevail. I'm not here to trying to get hired I'm here to get to best help and the best advices not just for myself but also for anybody else that could be in my shoes. I didn't think about trucking back then and definitely didn't think getting 3 tickets in my personal vehicle would matter much. But it's life we all living and learning people make mistakes. I was pursueing something else and was willing to do everything I could to achieve it. But I do understand the words you speak. Time is key now and like I said my 3 years is almost up. I will be attending one the programs Chinatown mentioned above to get my own cdl then look for work.

Let me illustrate:
There will often be some drivers’s wife who will talk about how her husband is an excellent driver, but he got fired because he had 3 wrecks and two speeding tickets in 2 years. Her words say one thing, the actions tell a completely different story. SOLUTION: Less Words. Stick with just the facts. Qualifications, work history, MVR. Nothing dishonest. In fact, the words will be congruent with the actions.RealJohnson Thanks this. -
