Bad Situation Urgent help needed

    I got lucky on 8th all day I was calling uber freight on UAN number. Agents weren’t helping me out with anything all they were telling me to wait uber will contact me. This morning i found number of DHL facility where I picked up the load lady was nice there she provided me the direct number of uber account manager. I called her at 10 gave her 2hrs to find me solution or im going cross docking after 2 hrs. I called her after 2.5hrs she said wait till 4 she’s working i told her I already talked to DHL and I informed them im going dock crossing now im informing you im just by the dock crossing if i didn’t receive any thing by 2pm im dropping this load and you on a recorded line im recording this conversation. By 1.30pm i had the revised rate con.

    Do yourself a favor and learn from it. I will haul an Uber load. I will not haul an Amazon load for no amount of money.

    Uber and Convoy both pose this risk. Convoy is somewhat better in my experience, but still if you don't have a contact to a concrete individual at the brokerage responsible for the account then this is the type of a situation that you can get.

    Delivering an Amazon load is a crap shoot no matter who you book it through. I've run quite a few Uber loads and on a couple of occasions they've dropped the ball and didn't have a pick up or delivery time scheduled as it was in my ratecon, but they had it fixed quickly. Convoy always books the times on both ends a half hour early just to make sure you get there in time, and I've never had a problem like that with one of their loads, and I've hauled over 100 Convoy loads.

    20 years ago there was no Amazon.

    10 years from now there will be a mechanical army displacing humans to the porch.

    Im just happy and grateful I will not be alive then.
