I don't like the sound of the "drive your personal vehicle" part...from what i have seen, Watkins-Shephard is decent...there are some threads on this forum about them...one fairly recent...use the search drop box or at the bottom of this page you will see Forum Jump...click on the arrow to drop down the box...scroll to Watkins and have some fun in that forum...remember bad reports can mean a t'd off terminated driver is lashing out, but the good reports are genuine. Good luck to you two!

butterfli-there is a thread or many i should say devoted to W/S

I hope it still works out-you have gotten some great advice from those that have been there and it DID work for them (Texas-nana, otherhalftw, etc)

I wouldn't let a bad mentor keep me from working. Especially if he's already completed that portion of the training and only needs to test out. To me, that would be ridiculous to let the mentor "win" like that.

Lewiston is a very "small" terminal...if you know what I mean!

i still say: call driver services in Phx. talk to them about the situation & ask to test elsewhere.

    otherhalftw Thanks this.

i still say call driver services in Phx talk to them about the entire situation and ask to test elsewhere. with it being a small terminal he could be put on another fleet even during his developemental period.

oops! i didn't think the first one posted lol

yes OH exactly! I tested in Denver. It was toughbecause the tester there does an entire exam from pretrip, brakes, road and dockings. But the tester was a real sweetheart and even taught me some dockings i'd never even seen before.

They're really nice in Denver and SLC too
