Ok, that's understandable about not wanting to leave.
I just don't want to see you sit for a day, not get paid, and still have an issue. If it's still broke then someone needs to own up, don't let them shaft you because of it. They will if you let them.
Bad trailer

So...
Why not just find a different trailer? -
It's not your truck driver.
Just give that automatic the pedal and go.
If it breaks it's not really your fault.
Automatics have been programmed to work like the manufacturer wants them to. -

20miles before delivery abs light comes on, unload and drive straight to shop. Get told I can drop it and pick up new one. They change their mind over a 25$/day storage fee. 2 full days pass waiting on part, wrong part company had to overnight different one. Third day shop finally replaces abs module but new one has a different fitting so they have to make one. Get ready to pick up my current load and have a new air leak. Get that fixed.
At dock I have to unhook while it’s loaded. Come back hook up and do pre trip. Replace tail light and I’m good. Oops tandems won’t slide, 2 hours finally got em to move forward enough I can make the tight turns.
Wake up do pre trip air bags look funny and trailer riding low. Fight and get airbags up partially. Go to shop and have it fixed. -
