Onthefence I would love to insert a few good jokes on your behalf but you are just too good of a guy! I can't get over the lengths you have gone to try and become a truck driver! Though I still don't think this career is for you I still commend you for not giving up. You are only a quitter if you stop trying! Good luck to you in whatever you end up doing. If you ever find your knack you will probably be very successful due to your diligence. " You gotta keep on keepin on!" (Joe Dirt quote)

FWIW, I drove for 3 years, did other things for 3 years, then went back to school (because I had been off the road for too long), and tore up the school fence because I was yapping at the other guy in the truck. Learned my lesson for sure, but point is #### happens.

The lesson I learned is that you ALWAYS have to be aware of what you, and the truck, are doing. And that, no matter how much experience you have, if you don't do the above, you can screw up.

Sometimes "screwing up" can be a good thing, IF you learn.

    Good luck.
