It goes off income. At $75g it starts dropping. I think it's either 150 or 200 it becomes nothing.

Anybody over that won't be getting anything.

Over 99k equals nothing.

If you have a social security number and filed taxes in 2018 and made under 99k then your golden.

$1200 for single filer
$2400 for joint filer
$500 per child

 

Wages are what you could recoup if it comes out as proposed. I don’t agree with the plan as the country can’t afford it, but no one in Washington asked my opinion.

This is one time only pay out, correct?

If so, maybe it is good that regular Jack and Jill get it instead of those too big too fail only.

 

So what ... I can get a loan for last years wages I paid my self ..... and then not pay it back?

And the I just have to claim the money as income next year......?

The bill sign this afternoon by the President.

All income is based on 2018 tax filing. There are multi layers to it but in a nutshell:
•$1200 to single person making under $75K with declining scale that =$0 at $100K.
•$2400 to marines couple making under $150K with declining scale that =$0 at $200K
• both of above scenarios can add $500 for every child under 17 years of age
These payments are direct payments that won’t have to be repaid that will be repaid by not be allowed by claiming a tax credit that was already passed and starts next year.
The bill also adds $600 a week to your unemployment payment through July 31. Again it ADDS $600 a week. It also allows the self employed to collect this if you Lay yourself off....the smart ones have already took notice here.
The bill also extends the unemployment period to 31 weeks, not sure but believe it to be 24 weeks today.
