Ban On Smoking

OK ban the smoking but whats the reasoning for removing the ashtrays and cigarette lighters?

Why don't you just forget that part and order all truck manufactures to stop installing then in the consul. As if no ashtrays will stop an addicted person from going to Walley World and buy an ashtray and a stick of Velcro!

And the removal of the lighters. Heck just wait for a year and they will be burned out! But I hope that doesn't include the socket! We need some place to hook our appliances into! I hope that the gooberment will pay for a false ashtray as it makes the dash look better with something in the hole!

But still what MORON in GOOBERMENT wrote this idiotic rule to remove parts from the truck as if that will really stop a smoker from smoking? It's about as stupid as gun laws! Only those who do not follow the laws will still own one! As I said morons in gooberment!

Better yet have the moron who wrote it remove them from his vehicle and his wife's, children's, and even his parents if alive so they can look at an empty hole in the dash! HEY go further and have ALL employees in whichever gooberment office that proposed this insane rule and see how much work will get done in the office until his employees tell him how big an arse whole(?) he is!

Meanwhile they have the taxes on smokes cranked up so high that they wouldn't know what to do with themselves if everyone quit. A carton of Marlboros costs 8 dollars in the Philippines.

 

I smoked for 39 years and quit in 2007! Was told a year later I had cancer but it wasn't from smoking.
I sat and figured out how much I had spent on cigarettes and figured I could have bought a Harley and a car!

That was a lot of money for a stupid addiction I had and yes it's an addiction, and the reason why I lucked out at meeting women. It was how bad I stunk! I never really could understand it until I quit and once the crap was flushed out of my system and my sense of smell came back oh man did the cab of my truck smell so bad and those around me it was like a skank wall that you ran into! Man it is so gross to smell now!

I could tell when my oldest son came into the house as I could smell him! I'm thankful he took my advice. "Quit or move out" The best stop smoking drug there is! Smoke and live under a bridge (he's unemployed) or quit and live here. Some people aren't as dumb as they seem! LOL

Well he did start to do another nasty habit and thought chewing looked cool or something but another great stop smoking plan was his girlfriend.

She told him stop that nasty habit or you get nothing again or to go find another GF! He found out that nicotine just wasn't worth the hassle!

 

37 years on the butts,22 months clean and life is getting better.

 

I quit for 2 years and started up again. I really should try it again, not that I ever meet any women.

 

Freakin lame, our country is really going downhill quick, our country is full of whining crybabies. I was in Kentucky last week, and the truckers lounge had indoor smoking. lol And I got a carton of camels for 27 bucks. Freakin awesome.

There are some states that are cool. But most states and its stuffy, holier than thou residents are becoming ultra weinies, just like our government.

 

I hope they ban smoking in a establishment in all 50 states!!!!

 

I hope one day we have a government that bans whining and can issue citations for being a weinie.

Besides most states prohibit indoor smoking, which I agree with, but banning smoking in trucks or outdoors? LAME
