Oh.. well, sorry... it’s still really sad that it had to end that way...

 

If you wanna haul amazon loads 24/7 many get cancelled and have 20 year old punks at amazon try and punk you go work for Barr nunn or any of these other amazon slave companies

 

Ugh.. nope.. I am happy where I have been for years and am sticking it out as long as they can keep me moving as always.. yay

 

Amazon sucks even if D & H. 1700 drop Tracy Ca- No open space in drop lot till after 2300. Had to take 10hr break outside Amazon #2 yard for preldd next dat at 1100. Preload not ready till 1700 & del by midnight next day up in Seattle Wa

 

I know nothing about Barr Nunn except that they are a subsidiary of Knight Transportation.

But my BS meter is in the red zone on the OP's orientation senerio. I also think saying the company atmosphere was to blame for the incident in KY, is irresponsible. I have seen crazy stuff at T/S from all types of companies. I worked at one where a guys x-wife shot him through the bunk. wall.

What happened at the Pilot was the fault of the driver & the driver alone. If you work in trucking stress free? you are miraculously lucky.

 

Really sad that you can’t read posts and intellectualy respond without berating others... no one blamed the company for what that driver did; but, working for a lot of companies out here and how they run their drivers adds to the stress drivers are under. That’s a fact! Not a place of blame for how said drivers react to that stress..

 

Just the name of the company sounds stupid. Obvious play on words.

 

They don't have any freight of their own, they pull everybody else's freight

 

How's barr nunn as a company? What's the avg pay for a new hire there per week? They run you hard, avg miles per week currently? Tia
