Ok I’m confused by the way my trucks wiring (now, I have zero wiring experience other than installing this CB in a different truck.

My CB is the standard cobra 29, I’ve got the black and red wires coming out the back...

however I can’t figure out which wire goes where in my blasted CB slot (see attached photos for the wires of the truck)

move got a black wire (with a little red on it, but only on the piece that was spliced in) and a...brown wire?

    help!!!!

If it were me, I would just run a New wire straight to the batterys positive terminal for my power wire, then just run a ground wire to some place on the firewall and call it a day...forget about those wires in the truck..

2:1 is still acceptable. A few will get this ratio even though everything is perfect.
