I love my KW T800 I haul super B's fuel delivery into some very tight places. But I like the long nose Pete and will own one some day.

Oh it would have to be pre emissions & a Cat!

You say that now while you are young. As you get older,.. you get more crotchety and picky about certain things.

Look at how many older guys drive larger cushy Cadillacs or Lincolns. The Corvette is nice,.. but drive one for 900+ miles and you learn to appreciate a more comfortable ride.

I saw a beautiful 386 at my delivery this morning. It's a fine looking truck. I'd probably go with one of them, for 70K it appears you can get a real clean well kept 2012. And that truck chromes out real nice if you want to too. They make a 14" wrap around chrome bumper that looks very handsome on the 386.

And some young people (early 40's) like myself like cushy cars too. I have a 1996 Grand Marquis that is in practically mint condition with low miles on it. It still has a new car smell to it, as it has never been smoked in. I take such good care of the car, just like I would a truck if I owned one.

389 is all about style and class....just like a W900L
mines a glider, so I don't know crap about the new emissions stuff
    550 CAT, 18 speed and 3.55 rears
rides great with the low air leaf rears

the 386 turns tighter, and shares the cab/sleeper of the 389
ride is pretty good in a 386, but you can defiantly feel the steer axle a lot more
386 is generally spec'd out cheaper than a 389......means less gauges, less gears, probably rubber floors
but it will out do the 389 in fuel mileage, especially if it has the bird banger on it since you plan on pulling a van

386 is a company truck, 389 is generally an O/O

I'm starting to like the looks of the 579 with external pipes too........

Ha, I am in my early 30's and I am on my 3rd Grand Marquis. Nothing like driving a couch around for comfort.

I am still hauling steel, leased to my brothers co. I am still in my 379 with 2 million on the clock. Also have a 2015 glider, Columbia that I have a driver in. Looking into one of the Fitz Gliders 389 with the Cat now.
Been over a million miles since I started and it was about the time you bought that T-600. Got a lot of advice from you fellas. Was a lot more fun here when you all were here. Good to know you doing week.

Well thank you! My driving and parking has been going real good the last 6 months, and I haven't hit any other vehicles, poles or anything (that's a good thing right!). I just feel pretty relaxed in the truck lately. I'm not all tensed up and freaking out, as such I'm actually being more careful. Well, the Seattle area did get me a little scared last week. I had not delivered in that area before.

edit: I just realized you weren't talking to me.
