I've been holding off resetting my QC because there's an error in there and once I do it will assign my repair shop driving time to me personally which will mess up a 34 hour reset and cause a major violation issue. It's saying diagnostic error occurred at the time of my repair shop driv . It's been whining at me for over a mont . I refuse to reset it. My dispatch sent me a message about the drive time and I refused to allow it to be assigned to me. But I'm worried about the reset because it will give me a message it wants to assign a month's worth of drive time which will include the repair shop test drive. It does this assignment of drive time in one great big batch. Just says, there are x number of hours of unassigned drive time. Would you like to assign this to you? Stupid thing. How can that even be legal? I cant see what it's assigning to me. So I've been listening to the error message for over a month.

Tell dispatch you'll take the hit for pay at whatever your average miles traveled an hour is for the month. Don't take the time for no pay.

They can't legally force you to accept drive time that you didn't do. Also, QC does not assign it to you in one "big batch" but your office admin may have. For example, I can assign the shop time to a mechanic account in the system. Some companies do not realize that they can create a "shop" account just for such purposes. It is a simple process for the admin to assign those shop movements to the shop account unless they never made one.PE_T, ZVar and Deere hunter Thank this.

I refused to except, the changes made to my log, posted a message as to why, after a few days they changed the editing. Your E log people can fix it. E log keeps it simple, tells you who are, where your at, how many miles you ran, but also can tell if you have a heavy foot or missed a turn and went off route

ALWAYS log out of the system when truck goes in shop. You'll get the prompt when you log back in and then you say "no". If it asks for a reason, you say "truck in shop". No mas preguntas.
Dieselboss, PE_T and magoo68 Thank this. -
